Constant Cell Disruption - Updates

So we start another year, and this year has seen an increase in orders with over +40 machine orders in the first quarter and with several others are pending so we expect the upcoming months to be very busy.

Success with Leeds...

Back in October we were offered the opportunity to submit a tender to the University of Leeds. The university currently have four of our machines, however the customer in mind decided that in order to develop their research they would need to upgrade their current machine to a newer and faster model. We submitted our tender in October and awaited the decision. There was an agonising wait however in late November we were informed by the University that our submission had been successful. We have now received their order and look forward to installing their unit in the near future. Leeds has also agreed to be our first Centre of Excellence in England and this being the 5th machine to be installed at their site we feel this will be an excellent move forward.

Down under... again

Another successful tale for you… this month we have received our second machine order from the ‘University of Queensland’, Australia. Their first machine was installed back in January 2009 and since the installation the machine has become extremely popular, and heavily relied on. Therefore they decided to purchase a second unit. So a return trip to Oz for Constant Systems...

Working Partners...

We are only three months into our financial year and already we have seen a rise in orders from our partners in Germany, India, China and Taiwan.

Earlier this year we began a partnership with BioImages, a small Biotech and Brewery provider in Ireland. In November this year, we received our first joint order from Randox. Randox is a revolutionising healthcare company who research and develop solutions so that diagnostic testing can be carried out sooner, therefore allowing diagnosis to be given earlier. With Randox being a worldwide company with more than 20 facilities across the globe, this is a perfect start for BioImages and we hope this is the first of many to come.

Stateside

The first quarter has seen high profile orders from TSRI (The Scripps Research Institute) and University of Alabama. The order for TSRI will see the 2nd machine installed there and we also have a 3rd pending that we hope to close out before Christmas. The order from Alabama has come from Steve Aller. We began our relationship with Steve when he was at Yale University, and he purchased our equipment when he moved to TSRI and now again at Alabama.

Constant Systems will be attending the PEPTALK tradeshow in San Diego, CA in January. This has proved to be a very good meeting for us in the past where we can reach new and existing customers and updates from this tradeshow will be part of the next newsletter.
